The new GMM shirt is a total rip off (or damn similar) of the MTV type logo.

The 80's are an institution that I Love. (That might explain why I belong in one)
Everyone knows the price of being successful is always producing merch items.
However, MTV type shirts just hits too close to home.
Most of their younger fan base might not remember the life changing impact seeing the flag being planted on the moon back on MTV's first day, August 1, 1981 by the Moon Man.
Or have to survive in the knowledge that it's the “Video Killed The Radio Star” by The Buggles as the first aired video on MTV.
How about just stop sending out shirts just to let many seem hip and come up with something fresh?
How about posting GMM on the back of the shirts or just change the shirts into various colors?

Even though I know some Mythical Beasts will whine about this TRUTH I am glad someone said it.

ReplyDeleteBe ready 4 all YR "Beast Friends" bash on you for this reality. They drank the kool-aid.
ReplyDeleteI drank the kool-aid but mixed it with booze.
DeleteDidn't see the new shirts utnil you said something. It seems everyone is out to get paid. They were original show at one time. Now? IDK.
ReplyDelete:-(
How could no one see how close they are?? You won't stop watching or supporting them will you??
ReplyDeleteOf course I won't stop watching the videos because it's been part of my morning routine for so long I can't imagine not having them. Support doesn't co-inside with difference of opinion for me. #GMM will always have my Support. <3
Delete5 Stars. U think w/12 million subscribers they wouldn't need to use a classic to make more money. Sad.
ReplyDeleteGiving you a virtual High Five!
ReplyDeleteWhy are you watching those fakers? They only in it for the money and if they weren't pretty they wouldn't have made it this far.
ReplyDeleteI unsubscribed from them long ago.
DeleteI <3 all your blogs.
ReplyDeleteThey have been around for a while. Myabe they just got to wrapped up on other creative stuff to care about creative merchandise.
ReplyDeleteThey are getting OLDER and can't think creative anymore. So steal from others.
ReplyDeleteRhett and Link have been doing STUPID stuff for so long so I am not surprised that they try to grab the MTV kids to line their pockets.
ReplyDeleteWhat is next? Rhett & Link below the Eiffel Tower or Great Pyramid of Giza? So embarrassed for them.
